1t aquarium installation in our loft in 2003.
When my wife and I got married, we decided to move to our loft for some extra space. We did the interior but among first things, we built a concrete stand for our fish tank. During the first weeks we brought all glass for the fish tank and the frame, did gluing and put the tank in it’s place before any other significant thing. This way laminate, walls and everything else was safe from moving and manipulating aquarium. Space in which the tank is located is too low to be used for communication, and chimney makes it too crammed for anything except maybe some furniture. Since the loft’s walls are very short, we’ve used all that space next to the walls for furniture hence not needing this spot.
We did the floors, walls, cables etc. but the tank had to wait until we actually move in.
